LFT and 'me'

 After joining the college,I was in a hurry of becoming a member of a society or organisation.As soon as I came to know why about LFT, I dont know why but I instantly decided to join it.and if anyone asks me now that are you satisfied with your decision of joining LFT, I wouldanswer that I feel proud of my association with LFT. LFT can be compared to a treasure box,when you open it then only you will come to know what's in store for you.Its not just aout social service,it's about various otheractivities which leads to overall development of an individual. Personally speaking I am not at all into writing but stillI am trying to write blogs,all thanks to LFT. Recently,LFT members were asked to popularise LFT and try to make as may member as anyonecould.Through this each member got to interact with so many individuals. It was a real life experience.It was totally on us that how we present LFT as an organisation to all the probable members.Thusit was a sort of learning process for any student. I will also like to share my IYM experience. Visiting an orphanage may sound boring but believe meit is damm interesting.You get to know regarding the strife and struggle they go through and the hardships they have faced.The kids there were so pleased by our visit and were very welcoming. They introduced themselves and so did we.The kids of the orphanage are very talented and there talent needs to be polished so its nice of theorphanages that they are playing such an important part in their development.                                                  In end i would like to thank our college coordinator Saumya Chaudhary who has alwayshelped and supported me.Its under her able guidance and support of my friends that i m able to enjoy my association with LFT which i hopewill continue for the next 3 years.

Adapt A Plant

To begin with i would like to thank LFT for giving me an opportunity to be a part of ADAPT. The whole experience was fantastic. Have to say that activities like afforestation might sound boring but serving the environment leads to personal satisfaction. Our environment is degrading day by day courtesy fast paid industrialisation and urbanization. Its high time everyone join hands to protect environment. The initiative taken by LFT-ADAPT is step towards environment protection. Imagining how the place we chose for afforestation would look like after a year brings smile on the face of each and every person associated with ADAPT. And lastly working under the guidance of HANSRAJ college coordinator Saumya Chaudhary and with my friends in ADAPT even made the entire campaign more enjoyable. In the end,i would like to say that I couldn't have utilized my 2-3 hours in a better way. Instead of wasting time in my PG,I am proud to say I utilized that for the betterment of environment.

I have joined leaders for tomorrow this year,therefore, im new to LFT. But till now my experience in lft has been great. At hansraj, I have participated in ADAPT event which was a total new experience for me. I got to meet many people from different colleges and it was great to see that so many people feel for the environment as I do. The organising team was very friendly with the volunteers and i could see smile on everyone's face.  Overall , ADAPT , my first event in LFT left me with a great feeling and satisfaction that I have done something for the environment. Apart from that,I  have attended college meetings. Through that, i got to know my juniors in college better. I am really looking forward to work with LFT.

When I joined LFT last year, I had never imagined the way it will change me. 

I started as a volunteer.. a bit scared..a bit conscious every time I took a 

step..seeking guidance from my seniors who helped in raising a confident 'me'. 

As this year began, I was given the responsibility of managing my college as 

its coordinator. I was happy to take it but again accompanied by nervousness 

n doubts if I would be able to live up to the expectations.. We started with 

the ADAR campaign with the help of our core team which went off quite well..

By the end of it I could easily address a group of people..talk to them 

without any hesitation. It helped me gain tremendous confidence and a sense 

of ownership for LFT.

I Adopted a Plant..and when I see it breath...I am assured that the generations to come will...

We had our first event ADAPT where we planted around 80 saplings in a park 

near our college. This initiative towards a greener environment 

provided a sense of satisfaction that cannot be matched.

We sowed dreams which will be fruitful to us and our generations to come.. We had our 

volunteers working together as one team for the cause which reflected their 

interest and enthusiasm towards making some little contributions which can 

make huge a difference.By these small efforts, LFT helps us stand out from 

others.. ADAPT instilled in us a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

It taught us to work together and helped us bring a strong 

team..

This is the second month and I've seen our members grow from volunteers to 

organizers..helping me with everything I do. We have members pouring in 

after Be The Leader as a result of the hard work of our members and the 

self-confidence that LFT has helped them gain. The purpose of LFT of finding 

future leaders in us is being fulfilled with its every initiative.I am glad 

to be a part of it..it helped me move out 

of my cocoon and enhanced my personality.
